Job Description


As a  in Unarmed Security Enforcement Officer in Boynton Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal at a government location where you will help manage access control, monitor activity, and conduct routine patrols to help support a secure environment. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity by verifying credentials, checking identification, and documenting visitor and/or vendor access in accordance with site protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or conditions that may require attention.
  • Support day-to-day access control operations by assisting with badge procedures, directing foot and vehicle traffic, and reporting security-related concerns according to post instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be 21 years of age or older.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Guard card is reequired.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
