As a Security Officer Front Entrance in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or contractors by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and documenting entry and exit activity at a government location.
  • Monitor entrances, screening points, and/or restricted areas to help support authorized access, report unusual activity, and communicate security-related concerns in a calm, professional manner.
  • Respond to incidents, policy violations, and/or critical situations with a problem-solving approach, including contacting supervisors, emergency services, and/or designated personnel when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, checking access points, gates, doors, and/or public areas for security-related issues or maintenance concerns.
  • Assist with emergency response activities by following post orders, directing visitors and staff, and completing required reports related to incidents, access records, and/or daily operations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Guard card is required.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
