As a Security Officer Driver in Rancho Mirage, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Screener in a healthcare location, you will help support a welcoming environment by screening visitors, monitoring assigned areas, and assisting with security-related concerns through strong communication and customer service. This is a driving post. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, screening protocols, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
  • Screen patients, visitors, vendors, and/or staff at designated entry points using approved access and screening procedures, and report unusual activity or concerns to site leadership.
  • Verify identification, visitor authorization, and/or appointment information as directed, and help guide individuals to the appropriate department or check-in area.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating with staff and/or first responders when needed.
  • Monitor entrances, lobbies, and nearby areas for policy compliance, and conduct regular and random rounds of assigned areas as directed by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Hospital vaccines are required.
  • Experience working in a hospital morgue is required.
  • The ability to restrain individuals in a hospital environment is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
