What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, visitor processing, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate for a financial institution location.
  • Monitor access to the lobby and reception area, verify visitor credentials, issue passes as needed, and help to deter unauthorized entry through attentive front desk presence.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with staff, visitors, and/or first responders when appropriate.
  • Answer phones, greet employees and guests, provide directions, and support front desk operations with professionalism and courtesy in a fast-paced corporate environment.
  • Document visitor activity, incidents, and unusual conditions, and report security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and/or the designated site contact.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
