As a Security Officer Patrol Response in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, while communicating with staff and/or first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including hallways, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, noting unusual activity and/or conditions.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior by monitoring entry points, verifying access as directed, and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities in required reports, and relay relevant information during shift changes and to site leadership as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
  • Be willing to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
  • Be willing to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
  • Be able to restrain individuals when required in a hospital setting.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
