As a Security Officer Roving Driver in Madison, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal in a utilities location where you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. As part of a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will support daily operations with professionalism, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utility location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and support vehicle and personnel screening procedures in accordance with location policies.
• Prepare clear reports on daily activities, incidents, and/or policy-related concerns, and communicate professionally with Allied Universal leadership and site representatives regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
