As a Security Officer Armed in Georgetown, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer in a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access activity with strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and/or emergency response actions at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and escalating issues through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or identification as required, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or restricted area access attempts.
• Support emergency and contingency procedures by assisting with evacuations, securing incident areas, and coordinating with supervisors, site contacts, and/or public authorities when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
