Global Security Operations Center Operator Lead : The GSOC role is a technology driven
position focused on safeguarding organizational assets and ensuring global security.
This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage
complex workflows. Operators are responsible for extensive documentation and clear
communication across international teams, ensuring timely and accurate information
sharing. The position demands proficiency in multiple security and monitoring systems to
identify potential threats, detect anomalies, and analyze emerging trends.
a. Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for viewing and monitoring the video surveillance television monitors for unauthorized and /or unsafe actions and monitoring the Access Control System computer for visible and audible alarms.
Monitor, assess and respond to global threat intelligence feeds, news, and alters impacting employees, property and assets.
Coordinate with Regional Managers, site security contacts, and onsite security personnel (global locations) to communicate and resolve safety issues, security incidents, and alarm activity.
Dispatches security personnel as required in the event of security and fire life/safety alarms and must be able to prioritize alarm criticality and utilize available resources effectively.
Dispatch security personnel to support site operations and Owner service calls.
Help coordinate emergency services for traveling employees in the event of a medical incident or regional conflict.
Monitors compliance with access control policies.
Completes Incident Reports, Daily Security Reports into D3.
Completes job related forms and / or logs and incident reports as required.
Responsible for security systems monitoring, security services calls and emergency response dispatches.
Interact with a variety of people including clients, visitors, public safety officials, employees and the public.
Enforcing Owner policies and procedures.
Badge Compliance.
Property Movement Compliance.
Collaborate with internal teams, visitors and public safety officials to resolve issues and maintain security standards.
Observe and report on all unusual activity.
Report all building utility/ service issues as observed and instructed on facilities.
Notify, assist and direct emergency personnel as necessary.
Security access of authorized personnel into building including visitors and their employee sponsors, client employees and / or Suppliers.
Dispatch patrol to allow access to authorized personnel for secured areas.
Dispatch patrol to check and/ or secure access areas into and onto Owner's premises, as well as highly sensitive locations within the buildings.
Monitor the movements and locations of all account security personnel to expedite service requests, emergency responses and to ensure employee safety.
Operate telephone and radio equipment.
Responsible for the proper operation and monitoring of all life safety, gas storage, access control and loss prevention systems and related sub-systems.
Respond to system alarms and notify the appropriate response resources as directed by procedure.
Responsible for the proper operation and monitoring of all security telephone, paging, radio and intercom communication systems.
Responsible for the movement and actions of on duty officers.
Responsible for ensuring officers are not spending too much time in the control center or security office.
Responsible for ensuring assigned officers are conducting effective patrols of building and the campuses.
Perform other duties as assigned.
b. Minimum Requirements/Job Responsibilities:
At least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or GED.
Valid & Clean DMV record.
Be able to read, write & clearly speak English to include effectively communicating with all levels of management.
Computer experience including typing skills needed (proficiency with Microsoft Office programs).
Experience with operation of CCTV systems, Access Control System, two-way radio communication.
Ability to multitask.
Professional demeanor with excellent service skills.
