Job Description


As a Security Officer Visitor Screening in Three Rivers, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support a secure environment through strong communication and professionalism. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and deliver customer-focused service while helping to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorization, document visitor activity, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, gates, and perimeter points to observe conditions and report security-related concerns, operational issues, and/or hazards.
  • Support screening and checkpoint operations for vehicles, materials, and personnel in accordance with site policies and industry-specific requirements at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Possession of a guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
