As a driving patrol officer at a busy retail location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service, while representing Allied Universal with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, stockroom corridors, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor customer and employee activity, assist with access-related concerns, and communicate with site leadership and/or public responders regarding security-related matters as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
