As a Security Officer Patrol Response in Talladega, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support staff and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and assist with access control procedures for employees, contractors, and approved visitors.
• Support order at the location by communicating professionally, following post orders, and assisting with security-related checks of assigned areas and equipment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
