As a Security Officer Visitor Screening in Texas City, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help support a secure environment. In this role, you will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and contractors by following site-specific access control procedures, badging requirements, and security-related policies at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, and document visitor, vendor, and vehicle activity to help support controlled access throughout the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including communicating with site contacts and first responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, restricted areas, and perimeter locations, with attention to security-related concerns, equipment conditions, and unauthorized activity.
• Complete required logs, reports, and shift communications related to access control activity, incidents, and site procedures to help support continuity of operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA issued TWIC.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
