As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. At a busy retail location, our unarmed officers monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service. You’ll remain visible, assist guests and staff, and respond to routine concerns with professionalism, communication, and integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting concerns to site leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout storefront areas, common spaces, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter unauthorized access, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior while maintaining a professional presence.
• Assist with security-related incidents such as lost persons, customer concerns, medical events, and/or after-hours access requests in accordance with post orders and location procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be able to lift more than 20 lbs preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
