As a Security Officer Visitor Screening Associate in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help support a smooth operation through screening procedures, monitoring assigned areas, and completing routine patrols. This role combines customer service, communication, and security-related awareness while working with a team that values reliability, agility, innovation, and integrity.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Screen individuals, personal belongings, packages, and/or vehicles entering or leaving designated areas in accordance with post orders and client-directed screening requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access, theft, and other security-related concerns throughout the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around screening areas, operational spaces, and the perimeter, remaining aware of changing site conditions and cargo movement.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet preferred.
• Be able to lift up to 20 lbs preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
