As a Security Guard Diploma Verified Patrol in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details through appropriate reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout interior areas, exterior grounds, entry points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor doors, gates, alarms, cameras, and/or other site equipment as assigned, and communicate with site contacts regarding policy violations, suspicious behavior, and maintenance-related issues.
• Support badge or visitor processing, verify authorized access as directed by site procedures, and provide clear directions and assistance while maintaining a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• A New York State Security Guard License is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
