Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and following security-related policies for a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points for people, packages, and vehicles, document arrivals and departures, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or unauthorized access attempts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and support emergency response activities in accordance with post orders and site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter, observing loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, and other restricted spaces for security-related concerns.
• Complete required logs, reports, and communication records, and work with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership regarding daily operations, incidents, and/or access control issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
