As a Security Officer Patrol Technician in Hackensack, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a premier retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, stockroom areas, common areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor access points and high-traffic areas, observe customer and visitor activity, and communicate with store leadership and/or Allied Universal management regarding security-related concerns.
• Support closing and opening procedures, assist with crowd management during peak business periods, and help maintain an orderly environment for customers and staff.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
