In this role, you will bring integrity, teamwork, and reliability to each shift while responding to site needs with agility and professionalism.

Pay Rate: $22.66 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts, supervisors, and/or public agencies as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials where required, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or hazards according to site protocols.
  • Maintain readiness of assigned equipment and complete required reports, logs, and/or incident documentation in accordance with Allied Universal standards and location requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • An armed guard card or license is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
