Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a hotel location.
  • Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site leadership and/or local authorities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, hallways, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and high-traffic areas, assist with visitor direction, and support a professional atmosphere through courteous interactions and visible presence.
  • Document routine activities, incidents, and policy-related concerns in required reports, and relay important information during shift handoff and/or to Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
