Pay Rate: $22.66 / Hour

Must be 21+ years of age

Minimum 3 plus years of Security experience Or prior Law Enforcement or Military experience required

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or patients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with local responders and site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
  • Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and/or suspicious activity to site leadership.
  • Complete required reports and documentation related to patrol activity, incidents, and/or observations, and support follow-up actions in accordance with Allied Universal and site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or at least 2 years of security supervisor/manager experience or at least 3 years of security experience.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
