Pay Rate: $21.75 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and security-related policies at a technology-focused corporate location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to supervisors, local contacts, and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry points, visitor activity, and/or credential checks while documenting incidents, observations, and daily activities in accordance with site expectations.
  • Support emergency response activities, including evacuations, medical calls, and/or building-related disruptions, while following post orders and Allied Universal protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
