As a Security Officer Walking Patrol  in Portland, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic automotive location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and help to verify entry permissions for authorized personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries in alignment with site protocols.
• Assist with traffic and vehicle flow, observe for operational disruptions or hazards, and communicate security-related concerns that could impact people, property, and/or business operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
