As a Security Officer Badge Access in San Bernardino, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will help manage access points, verify credentials, and monitor activity to support a secure environment. This role combines strong customer service, communication, and attention to detail while helping with routine site presence and security-related duties. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to visitors, vendors, and employees by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate for the location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorizations, and document visitor, driver, and delivery activity in support of security-related operations at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, parking areas, and dock or trailer areas to help identify unusual activity and/or support security-related protocols.
  • Maintain detailed logs, reports, and pass-down information regarding access activity, incidents, and/or policy concerns to help support Allied Universal and site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
