As a Security Officer Armed Transit Driver Patrol in Pearland, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or local law enforcement when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, high-traffic areas, and/or cash handling locations to help to deter theft, trespassing, and other policy violations while maintaining a professional presence.
• Support loss prevention and store operations by observing customer and employee activity, following post orders, and completing required reports on incidents, hazards, and/or daily activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
