Job Description


As a Security Officer Front Desk in Ennis, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy healthcare location where you will serve at the front desk as a welcoming presence for visitors, patients, and staff. In this stationary role, you will help monitor access, support security-related procedures, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Monitor visitor, patient, and staff entry at the reception area, verify identification and/or credentials as required, and help to direct guests according to site protocols.
  • Answer questions, manage access requests, and communicate with staff regarding arrivals, deliveries, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Respond to incidents, concerns, and/or critical situations at the front desk with professionalism, document relevant details, and report information through proper channels.
  • Support a professional lobby environment by observing front desk activity, helping to address security-related concerns, and following healthcare location procedures for confidentiality and access control.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
