As a Security Officer Patrol Ambassador in Leesburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. In this people-first role, you will bring reliability, integrity, and teamwork to a dynamic environment while helping create a welcoming experience for everyone on site.

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, report security-related concerns, and document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities according to site protocols.
  • Support a professional environment by offering directions, addressing routine questions, and assisting with security-related requests in a courteous and respectful manner.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
