Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, offering variety throughout your shift while supporting daily operations with agility, reliability, teamwork, and integrity in a caring, people-first culture.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, following posted policies, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to location protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floor areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter points.
  • Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and security-related concerns, helping to deter theft, trespassing, and disruptive behavior through visible presence and professional interaction.
  • Communicate with store leadership, employees, visitors, and/or first responders regarding incidents, observed concerns, and routine security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
