Job Description


As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Associate in Stone Mountain, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access awareness through strong customer service and communication. This is a driving post, requiring travel throughout the location while reflecting our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site expectations.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and communicate with site contacts regarding deliveries, restricted areas, and/or after-hours access requests.
  • Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, providing directions and assistance, and completing required reports related to patrol activity, incidents, and/or policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
