Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming atmosphere through strong communication and customer service. Pay Rate: $15.91 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating observations to property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help support authorized access, observe activity at the location, and report maintenance, lighting, and/or property issues.
  • Complete routine reports and incident documentation, relay important information during shift changes, and follow Allied Universal policies and site instructions while performing assigned duties.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and a rustic guard shack.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
