Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, processing visitors, maintaining entry logs, and helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to identify unusual activity, report security-related concerns, and support access control protocols.
• Operate assigned access control and surveillance systems, review activity at entry areas, and report equipment issues, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Required Qualifications: 2 years of Physical Security Experience and Ability to speak,read, and write the English language fluently. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Advanced Computer skills and proficiency; Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Applications
• Proficiently skilled in the use of technology such as a desktop computer and mobile applications to document activities and tasks 
• Ability to prioritize workload based on urgency 
• Ability to quickly and efficiently analyse high stress situations to determine the proper communication of events and to dispatch the proper teams to determine the best course of action to take
