As a Security Officer Access Assistant in Walton, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service. You will remain visible, complete routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while working as part of an agile, reliable team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and store personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, screening entry points, and supporting security-related protocols throughout the location.
• Monitor entrances, exits, loading areas, and other designated access points to help control authorized entry and help to deter unauthorized activity, theft-related concerns, and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and perimeter, noting unusual conditions, reporting maintenance or security-related concerns, and supporting a professional environment for guests and staff.

Minimum Requirements:

• 2+ years of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
