Job Description


As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic transportation location as an unarmed officer in a driving post, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. In a fast-moving environment, you will support daily operations with clear communication, teamwork, integrity, and a caring, reliable approach.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a busy transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with site contacts, travelers, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and/or passenger-facing spaces for security-related concerns, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations according to site protocols.
  • Support day-to-day location operations by documenting incidents, completing assigned reports, and/or assisting with crowd management and access control during high-traffic periods.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
