As a Security Officer Corporate Campus Patrol Driver in Birmingham, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a financial institution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming atmosphere through strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and sharing observations with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the banking location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas, as required by post instructions.
  • Monitor access points and observe on-site activity to help to deter unauthorized entry, disruptions, and/or policy violations at the location.
  • Support closing and opening activities, alarm-related responses, and other assigned duties in accordance with post orders and the needs of the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
