Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and sharing information with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, common areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor customer and employee activity, access points, and/or delivery areas for security-related concerns, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues.
• Support retail operations by assisting with crowd management, closing procedures, and/or access control practices in alignment with site expectations and Allied Universal standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• One or more years of security-related experience is required.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
