As a Security Officer Dispatch Operator in Arlington, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatch professional with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor activity, coordinate communications, and support timely responses to security-related concerns. This role combines strong customer service with clear communication and attention to detail, helping to support daily operations. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures, managing communications, and supporting security-related activities at a financial institution location.
• Receive, prioritize, and dispatch calls for service, incidents, and routine requests to appropriate personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, radios, telephones, and other security-related systems, documenting activity and sharing timely updates with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and dispatch records, helping to support clear communication and continuity of operations during routine events and critical situations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as needed, with working environments and conditions varying by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to operate a Segway or T3 is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
