As a Security Officer Visitor Access Coordinator in Walton, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal at a high-profile retail location where you will monitor access points, verify credentials, and help manage the flow of visitors, employees, and deliveries. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Monitor entrances, exits, loading areas, and/or restricted spaces to help control authorized access, verify credentials, and report unusual activity in accordance with post instructions.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and perimeter to help identify security-related concerns, support loss prevention efforts, and report maintenance or policy issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
