As a Security Officer Gated Community in Trabuco Canyon, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal at a residential location where you will monitor entry points, manage access control activities, and support residents and guests with professional customer service and communication. In this role, you will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while working with a team that values reliability, innovation, care, and integrity.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorization for residents and approved visitors, and help to deter unauthorized access to the location.
• Respond to incidents, gate access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Document visitor activity, deliveries, and/or unusual incidents in required logs and reports, maintaining accurate security-related records.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate contact.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
