Pay Rate: $29.30 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies at a technology-focused location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor requirements, and document security-related events, observations, and incidents in accordance with post procedures.
  • Support emergency response activities, assist with directional guidance and general assistance, and report maintenance, operational, and/or security-related issues observed during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
