As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Agent in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a cutting-edge technology location as an unarmed patrol officer in a driving post. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a professional, welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, work areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site policies, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Support day-to-day operations by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, completing required reports, and assisting with security-related requests in a professional manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
