As a Security Officer Patrol Division in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic education location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support students, staff, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, following campus policies, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to the appropriate campus contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout academic buildings, common areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
  • Monitor access points and observe campus activity to help to deter trespassing, theft, vandalism, and other security-related issues while maintaining a professional presence at the location.
  • Document incidents, daily activities, and irregularities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts, students, staff, visitors, and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
