Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas, with attention to changing conditions across the location.
• Monitor entrances, movement, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity within the facility.
• Support security-related operations by following post orders, verifying credentials when required, and assisting with response coordination during alarms, medical events, and/or other urgent situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Possess at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
