As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and telecom location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help to deter security-related concerns, and support access control and visitor flows. You will document observations, communicate clearly with teams and site contacts, and deliver customer service that reflects our agile, reliable, and innovative approach, with a caring culture that puts people first and integrity in every action.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services when needed and notifying site leadership per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, entry points, loading areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.
• Control access by monitoring doors and gates, checking credentials and/or access authorizations, managing visitor sign-in, and directing traffic flow to authorized areas.
• Complete detailed reports for incidents, patrol observations, and daily activity, and communicate clearly with Allied Universal supervision and site personnel during shift turnovers.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security experience.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
