Pay Rate: $17.70 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a financial services location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, offices, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify conditions requiring attention.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas while verifying credentials, directing foot traffic, and/or assisting with visitor processing in accordance with location policies.
  • Support day-to-day operations by maintaining a visible presence, communicating professionally with staff and guests, and/or following post orders for after-hours access, package handling, and incident response.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
