You will support access control, assist with loss prevention awareness, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor customer and visitor activity, assist with access and entry concerns, and/or report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
