As a Security Officer Front Desk in Bellefonte, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic chemical location as a Front Desk professional, where you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor activity, and support security-related operations through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a front desk post at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Monitor access to the lobby and reception area by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or visitor authorization, issuing badges, and documenting arrivals and departures.
  • Answer phones, assist employees, visitors, and contractors with directions and front desk inquiries, and report unusual activity or concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including communicating with site personnel and/or first responders when needed.
  • Maintain accurate front desk records, logs, and incident documentation, and support security-related communications and administrative tasks connected to daily site operations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
