Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in an educational location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support students, staff, and visitors through strong communication and customer service while contributing to a caring, agile, and integrity-driven team culture.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or faculty by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations to help to identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access, assist with visitor direction, and support orderly access throughout the location.
• Report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations observed during patrols, and follow post orders and Allied Universal protocols for notification and response.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
