As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff, visitors, and local partners while delivering excellent customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and community members by following established security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate for a public-sector location.
• Respond to incidents, service calls, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and communicating updates to site leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of assigned areas, including building exteriors, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and public areas for unusual activity, help to deter policy violations, and direct visitors to the appropriate resources when needed.
• Complete routine reports and incident documentation, and coordinate with local responders and/or Allied Universal leadership when situations require additional support.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be able to ride a bike.
• Being able to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Being able to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Having a guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
