As a Security Officer - Flex Unarmed Patrol Driver in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to calls for service with calm, customer-focused communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. You will represent Allied Universal with integrity, teamwork, and a caring, agile mindset while supporting daily operations.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help to identify unusual activity, hazards to operations, and security-related concerns.
  • Control access at gates and/or checkpoints by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, logging entries and exits, and directing traffic flow for deliveries and trucks.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or public emergency services as directed by post orders.
  • Complete timely documentation such as daily activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoffs, and communicate observations to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

  • EMT Certification is required and may be completed post hire.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer Service Experience is preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
