As a Security Officer - Security Dispatch Desk in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Dispatch Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will coordinate daily security-related operations from a central post, monitoring activity, managing radio and phone communications, and directing officers to calls for service. You will document incidents, support access control requests, and provide a professional, customer-focused presence for tenants and visitors. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by following site-specific procedures, property rules, and security-related protocols, and by assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor phones, radios, and security-related systems such as alarms, cameras, and access control, and dispatch officers and/or maintenance contacts to reported issues.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, gathering key details, giving clear directions to responding personnel, and escalating notifications per post orders.
  • Maintain accurate logs and reports of calls for service, dispatch activity, incident details, and follow-up actions in accordance with Allied Universal requirements.
  • Coordinate regular and random patrol coverage requests around buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter, and communicate observations and/or instructions to on-site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
