As a Security Officer - Gatehouse Driver in Catawba, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, contractors and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures, identification verification requirements and/or check-in protocols.
• Monitor entry and exit points at an industrial location, manage visitor and vendor logs, issue temporary credentials when authorized and report access issues per post orders.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access, including coordinating truck deliveries and pickups, verifying shipping or receiving documentation as directed and communicating with site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate parties and documenting events per Allied Universal and site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, production areas, parking areas and the perimeter, noting and reporting security-related concerns and/or unusual activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
